What do we carry in store?

  • Freshwater Livestock

    We stock both freshwater fish and plants as well frozen food and equipment in store.

  • Saltwater Livestock

    In addition to saltwater fish and coral we also carry inverts and clean up crew, as well as frozen fish food and additives to help your reef thrive.

  • Reptiles and Amphibians

    We specialize in carrying exotic and unique animals including ball pythons, geckos, frogs and more as well fresh and frozen feeder rodent plus live feeders including meal worms, crickets, dubia roaches, wax worms, and superworms.

  • Our Story

    Poseidon’s Pets of Picayune began as a shared hobby and a leap of faith. With a love for animals and a passion for doing what we love, we opened our doors just over a year ago—and we’ve been growing ever since.


    Wyatt brings years of aquatic experience, having worked in the industry while earning his agribusiness degree from LSU. His passion lies in both freshwater and saltwater life, and he’s the heart behind our thriving aquatic section. Crislyn, with a Neuroscience degree from Holy Cross and experience at Children’s Hospital, followed her lifelong love for reptiles and critters to help build something new. Her care and dedication are at the core of our exotic pet side.


    Every day is a learning experience, and we’re so thankful for the journey God has led us on. Together, we’ve created a place where passion, purpose, and pets come together.
